Why would someone steal artwork to apply for jobs? Besides the obvious moral and legally wrong, it makes no sense to me as the person would probably get fired quickly due to them not being able to produce any work to the quality level of work they stole. Good to know people are on the lookout!
Great idea and clean execution. What i can tell from the wireframe shots is that it needs some pretty heavy optimization. If there is edges on a completely flat surface, it should go. If it doesn't connect with something or what ever. Just have a look and you'll see it pretty quickly. Well done :)
Me love you long time! Always the simplest solution :( I should'of had a v8. :) The project sub reproject sounds like a great idea thanks for that one as well! Will try It sometime. Thank you for responding quickly I needed help a.s.a.p. but didn't want to sound pushy.
Quickly threw something together. It's just a static mesh overlayed on the eyes to see if it would work. I think with some tweaking it would but it's too late to export the skeletal from max again with new IDs. Also, I'd have to do all the manual alpha sorting again for the hair.
Had to quickly spit these out before going in for my day job. As for the jacket folds, yeah they came out rather chunky since I was learning how to sculpt and retopo them by hand rather than passing them through something like Marvelous Designer to get accurate folds.
So I thought I would start out by showing where I am at the moment. This is the blocking phase so everything is getting made quickly and then I will start tweaking the proportions until they're good :) Still missing some parts, but I think the silhouette reads quite good.
In substance designer I created a fully modular wood grain texture with exposed parameters so I could change the look quickly and easily. I then referenced it in three wood materials, a floor, ceiling, and a weathered trim with 3 color variants. Then I started building doors windows an shutters.
I've actually been legitimately busy, I planned to start modelling today and would have had the lo-poly done and unwrapped quickly enough. But I got called into work. I finish up at 5, so I'll crank on it when I get home. LIKE A BOSS!
@DemonPrincess Yeh, I think Ive learnt my lesson, Im gonan stick to lower res maps from now on. Like you said its easier to paint quickly and tbh I like the lower res version better if anything. With Emissive, sticking to lower res too.
Holy shit! Check this out: http://jaggedalliance.com/index.php?id=19&L=1 Not exactly a whole new game, but pretty promising. JA2:Reloaded. I reckon that's the look and feel of the JA3 game, assets being used to quickly recreate JA2 b4 the future lunch of the sequel. Yippi!
