the bend you have there is probably too sharp to properly unwrap a straight texture onto it - It'd be easier to just make a corner texture for it. -

I'd lower the gloss value a lot since the barrel especially seems to have a pinpoint sharp highlight, but I'm digging the texture work :) -

Gotta love the companion cube! Any chance of smoothing out those edges slightly, there are definite edges on the actual cube, not sure if they are that sharp. -

Looks good now, but the cracks make no sense. They wouldn't appear in the middle without connecting to the sides, and there should be more sharp turns, not curves. -
