Trying to find a interesting way to present this car model. Finding it difficult to find the right balance between the different elements. Textures, mesh, lighting, post process etc.
You can't loop unselect in any version. I always loop select the edge/border, then CTRL select the polygon element button (it converts to nearest polygon selection).
may this push the discussion: I think reduction in the flow design is key to a good tool, try to make as less action as possible and use as less GUI elements as possible.
CordellC, what's the errors I made in the map? SlyRipper, do I explode the high poly or low poly? The low poly is the only one with different elements attached.
1. added more visual elements to help with this scene's story... 2. scaled down the grass,the ropes and poles... 3. adjusted the hue of the rocks in the middle ground.. Cheers..
I love the shape! Was there any specific specials of crab that you were referencing when designing this? Working some specific crab-like elements would be really cool.
