I really like all of the textures, except the one on the foundation. Seems slightly busy, and kind of throws off the transition from building to ground. Really just a minor thing overall. Did you make all textures by hand, or were any photo-sourced?
OK, I re-stuck all the threads except the first three. Would anyone like those to be stickies? Also are there any other Tech threads that should be in this list? We're willing to do what helps you the most. This is after all, your forum!
for the card design wise, except the sand king, the 2 you made is very nice, sand king maybe the head design is kind of ...not suitable with poker-ish style...it looks ...way a bit simple. :| or try to tilt head like the Jack of spade... maybe it works
You can't just choose to emigrate, the world doesn't work like that (with the notable exception of treaties like Schengen in the EU). If you're born in Vietnam, you're more or less stuck in Vietnam. Buying citizenship in other countries usually costs into the millions, when it's possible at all.
Had that happen in my Jeep once going up a pretty significant hill, except it didn't quite snap cleanly. Part of it shredded along the length and there was a long, rubber string hanging off that started going WHAPWHAPWHAPWHAPWHAP against the hood at 2200 rpm. Yeah, that was fun.
Exceptional work! My only crit is where the grass shore meets the water in the foreground...needs something there. Maybe some small rocks or even rocks that are half in the water etc. Can you show you're tree and grass wireframes>? Also branch closeups? Cheers!
Hahaha, Adam. You're like 3km from where I'm currently staying. But I'm cool to combo that shit up for the same night. Except by the time that comes around, I'll most likely be living in Oakville or Mississauga, but I'll happily ride the train to party town.
using 3ds max 2010 - 64 bit, on windows 7 64 bit keep getting "MAXscript rollout handler exception - unknown property: "checked" in undefined" any idea what might be going wrong here? (apologies if its something i've screwed up!)
@Ace-Angel It's actually very simple. It's the same set-up as this shot in my blog post. Except the B value texture (greyscale) on the far right is different and the constant just below this text is 0.3 The reason it looks that way is the combination of the texture and the UV's of the static meshes.
:/ there is still a huge gap between male and female, I wonder if this is present across all country. When I compared my salary with male collegue before I never notice any inegality (except drop coming from different position or experience level)
