btw, threadless takes a while to let you know if a tee is being printed. I will wait a few weeks and if i do not here anything i will find an alternate printer for it and then put a link up here.
Some new stuff haven't posted before yet 3d Sculpt Commission for 3d print had to slice into parts since client's printer wasnt big enough to print the entire thing as one print
This one is cool but most t-shirts can only be printed in certain colors - like the printer might only have 1 green that is appropriate, where this image has gradations and stuff that can't be screenprinted.
I suppose I was asking for that... :) In case this helps anyone googling to this thread: I've found that the 3d printer exporter plugin for zbrush has a great .STL import function. Took me a while to find that.

One of my colleagues is currently running a whole room full 3d printers around the clock churning out parts for the laser cutter he Kickstarted. Leaving the automatic updates running on those computers was rather destructive.

hmm, not sure if i get you right, but a 3d printer will print the actual geometry of an object, so normalmaps or normalsmoothing etc isnt represented. That means if you want a rounded border, you will have to model it as such.
