Arm looks a bit weird there, and the hands sort of bother me, they look a bit small/skeletal.

In the skeletal mesh editor, there is a checkbox called something like use ref-pose. Try enabling that.

I am currently adding timed particles the the skeletal mesh in UE4. Got a nice little action shot from it :)

And you've done test animations in Blender that the bow animates correctly? Have you named the bones and skeletal meshes correctly?

wghy do you use psk still anyways? udk is now on fbx for skeletal and static meshes :)

When you say "skeletal animation" do you mean animate it in a another program and import it into UE?

Maybe it's a sorting problem ? Is that a skeletal mesh ? If yes you can try different sorting orders : http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/TranslucentHairSorting.html
