Very neat, though I can't seem to get either of the trailers to show up. The Quicktime one plays audio but no visual, and the WMV one doesn't want to start downloading at all. :(
http://dominancewar.com/index.htm - results have been delayed until May 7th. So in the meantime, I rendered out a turntable video of our entry... Turnaround Quicktime MOV (8mb)
yeah hand holding gets my goat as does quicktime stuff. I have sometimes spent 20 mins playing a game before they actually allow you to touch the controls:)
Keyframe MP is the one you're looking for. I think Quicktime will do frame by frame with left/right arrow keys, with added bonus of light editing (maybe Pro only, not sure)
it is a huge pain in the ass. They bundle it with quicktime and hide it if you aren't paying attention when you download and install. I've see issues where I deleted it and it was back a week later.
I was wondering if anyone knows if I could record a video in my Unity scene in a high quality than the amount of pixels on my monitor?? Also, how do I know if my quicktime is H.264 or not?
Finished Medusa. Hope this brings back some memories y'all. Orthographic veiws are at... http://www.daveking.com.au/gallery/medusa/medusa.htm and a 360 turntable render in quicktime... http://www.daveking.com.au/gallery/medusa/daveking_medusa_turn.mov
Real Alternative installs the Real codec without the player or any other crap (it comes with MPlayer Classic, though), there's also a Quicktime Alternative out there. Did you find any problems with it, Hawken?
Wow. That is damn cool. Very impressive work from opensource apps. The rotatable took about 15 secs to load for me, and is weird to control. Just a quicktime file may be more professional.
