just started the head today quickly, going for shapes and trying to keep in mind the anatomy of the zygomatic bones and whatnot, i believe im off at the moment, but i want as much form to be correct as possible so criticism is recommended as i want to do the best i can

I just quickly tested it out though, no idea if this works well in the long run of if there is anything malicious about it.
Turn down the mouse average, and slow your strokes down just a tad bit. Quick strokes like that are good for building some texture. If you just want to quickly rough out the form while maintaining a smoother surface, get in the habit of smoothing the area afterwards.
Thanks dude, just got some quick feedback from friends which I just fixed quickly, but not worth another update. - Emboss smaller wallpaper details slightly in normals. - Add more specular occlusion to give metal more form and depth in cavity/cracks.
One way I can say isn't worth trying. Don't cut a hole in a wash basket and mount your monitor to it, so you can lay down and put your monitor directly over your face. It'll give you a headache pretty quickly.
These one are my Custome SBS used for the "cell". I've used UVSets for baking all my maps of every meshes togheter in one shot, and rendered in Iray insiede Substance Designer with UVTiles. So that I can work with multiples geometries insiede SubstanceDesigner, really quickly.
awesomeness thread updates too quickly for any kind of discussion, and actually a lot of the things in there aren't that awesome so I've stopped clicking on it... I'm sure I'm not the only one :p Plus everyone knows the real awesome stuff ends up with their own thread anyway!
Thanks guys. Mike - you're right, I will look at removing those before I skin it any further. Chris - Yeah he does look really awkward. It's the UT3 rig, we had to model around it. I've tested it in-engine quickly and it looks fine in UT3.

I played as a soldier and I took the Viper (extra ammo + extended barrel) and the Revenant (stability + extended barrel). I was using the Matlock, but quickly realise that the Viper actually carries more ammo than almost all assault rifles and does more damage, go figure.
