Firemonkeys was hiring artists recently, though I don't know whether those positions have been filled yet. They're an EA studio and probably the biggest studio left in the country, with the possible exception of Half Brick. http://www.firemonkeys.com.au/
Shit, I totally dreamt of a place looking just like that first pic!! Except it was at night and in black and white. Creepy haha Fantastic stuff all around ... would be nice if each link posted could have a teaser pic ...
Thanks alot even Eric though I've read this thing plenty of time already :D . They did an outstanding job for the fur if you ask me. Though, there isn't many detail about the animation except their use of the IK solvers.
I haven't seen any benchmarks that really show that your experience in Max or Maya is going to be significantly better with DP or workstation cards, except for some very specific use case scenarios. But I haven't used one myself.
Except the pose of the ponytail, that I think should touch her body armor...and maybe the stitches on the jeans that think could look better, double stitches and darker wrinkles between... But other then that, this is freaking beautiful, very very nice job!
it happened, blizzard is a really good example. Thomas Mahler, now head of Moon Studios on Ori, had little prior experience and didn't finish his studies when he was hired for SC2. Of course those are exceptions, but it does happen.
Darbeenbo-Ok,I was thinking about that ,I'm going to redo the textures except the last one.Simmo-I was just playing around with the texture,It was supposed to be somekind of leaking rust effect but it sholdnt be there so its been fixed already. Thanks for critiques ! :)
That explains the price on the main site. That's now the "Enterprise" version. One of the features is "standard Autodesk licensing". I wonder if the free version isn't supposed to be used commercially. Nothing I've seen clarifies the licensing restrictions, except that Enterprise is "for studios".
Thanks, I figured it out, now everything works except transparency. Transparency in SD is fine, but when I import it into Unity, what should be transparent is now black. *Currently trying to publish another topic about this new issue*
nice mushroom man! :) I think that it is most fair way to show the work. Look at my old thred. It is about fair/unfair show lopoly models anywhere except realtime apps http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?t=67184
