What started off as a rough concept sculpting doodle session has quickly turned into something i want to develop as a fine-artsy , avant garde sculpture piece. This one is called "Duality" , you'll understand why its called that when i am done. -

@homart Great feedback! :) Hmm the foliage placed with the foliage brush seem to lose their shadows very quickly, much quicker than the cascaded shadow setting says, need to look into that. Good that you pointed out the roughness, reworking that entire part of my shader now :) -

Been experimenting with zremesher + guide curves for retopologizing, was able to get a decent mesh out of it fairly quickly. I'm probably just gonna redo it manually once I gather the willpower. Normal map needs a lot of cleaning up but not too bad a bake otherwise -

no, they need to make a sci fi game mmo. there has yet to be a good sci fi mmo. they all fail horribly. some start off good, but quickly suck. but, yes, its suppose to be a new IP. meaning no warcraft, starcraft or diablo. its about time.... -

i kinda liek thios frontpage stuff. When i dont have much time i can quickly find some good art to look at. well maybe it wouldnt be that good idea but for cgtalk with its incredible size and community it works out well... -

I switched from Firefox to Explorer and it worked first time and quite quickly. Might be worth considering for anyone having problems. And on that note: http://onfinite.com/libraries/996555/6a1.jpg Its a bit patchy but overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. -

if it wont boot, you can try slaving that drive to another HDD that can boot, then try and navigate to the data that way. a bonus is that you will be set up to quickly grab the data onto a solid drive if you can see it. Good Luck Vig, sorry to hear that.
