Not looking at the anatomy, instead just quickly at the proportions; knees too low, feet too long, cheeks too far forward, bottom of the jaw/chin too flat, ears too high. Anatomy is subtle but looks like it's going in the right direction. Keep working it!
No... but I almost stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once... I have some more updates to the tool to make it run more quickly, allow copying and have more presets... but it will probably be a couple weeks before I can even think about thinking about it :)
Hey man, he's looking cool! Personally I would try to make him look a bit more agile similar to the concept, right now he's quite bulky in the arms and legs especially and it seems he'd have a hard time shifting that weight quickly.
Yep, If someone could post or give me a yell on twitter (@mystichobodev) about where you guys end up going afterwards, I should be able to get there pretty quickly (I only live a couple of tube stops away from the expo itself)
Haha I hear you on that although I got into it fairly quickly and it became like smack in game form. Its so fucking addictive - and once you start getting gear for potential alts its like signing away a the next few days played.
ya i quickly made it in shitty bsp for now and already made a hardwood floor and tile materials. will work on the wall next which will give a good idea of scale since it has that paneling which in real life should come up to almost waist height.
Mouth time! (╯⊙ ⊱⊙╰ ) Welcome to part 4 of our stylized female face tutorial series. In this video we will be quickly covering sculpting the lips/ a mouth. If you missed the previous videos you can check those out above! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfp7IWoEsZg
I'm feeling half tempted to quickly play through the game again with this theory in mind just to see how it applies. Just reading that page connects my dots of confusion with various parts of the game, but it'd be cool to replay it accepting the idea that Edea killed Squall.
That's been my process only since I don't have Topogun, I've been doing the retopo in Zbrush and getting my maps with Xnormal...but like you, I really like being able to get through a concept quickly with ZB. Nice post though.
Haha, scrolled through the thread quickly without reading anything first to see the 3D work... and misstook the actual 3D work for photo reference! So it's amazing work! Very well done, I love the look, it has some kind of a vintage look and feel to it.
