Morph target? If you have enough edge loops, and spend enough time tweaking (soft selection in 3dsmax, if you're using it), it shouldn't be too difficult.
Sorry to spam you with questions Zazerzs, but do you know if the 3dsMax export plugins you release will be available for use on Ogre projects not related to Torchlight?

In Corona renderer, 3dsmax u can control the directionality of a light plane. Kinda like spot lights when you want to make a spotlight u adjust the angle.
