Hello! The idea is to create a cave-like throne hall (more a retreat) for a creature which could be worshipped as god among human. Inspiration for design will be north and south american indian culture (Aztec, Maya, etc.) Firts sketches come later.

it was a fair while back, a 3rd person rpg who's selling point was it took the piss out of rpgs made references to creatures dropping gold and other nonsensical items, heavily stereotyped characters and stuff like that i think it bombed in the charts ringing any bells?
I'm reading the latest issue of Game Developer and there's an article about Deadly Creatures. http://gamedeveloper.texterity.com/gamedeveloper/200905/?sub_id=CaWERAuv3UCqI A whole chapter talks about something called "gray-boxing". Can anyone please explain what this means? Google tells me nothing. thanks!

The first thing that sticks out is the inconsistency of the legs. They are all sorts of thicknesses. Secondly, if you are going for a stylized scene then the creature needs to be characterized in some way. Other than the skull face, the shape seems to be pushing the realism really hard.

Update from last night. Forgot to post argh.w Yeah I'm moving at a mind numbing slow pace right now , animals and non-bipedal creatures aren't my comfort zone so I'm rather wonky with these things.
