co worker tipped me off about this one, local high school paints the graduate class year on the bleachers every year.. so as you can see the sat photos are from 2002.. or maybe 1902 tho i'm not sure how god their satalite imagry was then. -

Very true oXYnary, but I have Polycount and ConceptArt to thank for getting the local sketch group started here in Dallas. So the one helps the other. It's useful to approach a group knowing people by their reputation and their work; having an online presence makes for better recognition sometimes. /jzero -

that animation mentor school looks pretty slick. really great animations in thier student showcase vid. pretty expensive for a year and a half program though. Think i might look into this. Take some life drawing and basic art classes locally and take this corse on the side. -

Extrude along axis in 3DS Max?
Hey guys, I'm quite stuck with how to do this in max. When I push the extrude button, it always extrudes along the local axis of the selected faces. Is there a way to extrude only along a selected axis? This is what I'm getting: This is what I would like: Thanks for the aid :) -
3d Studio Max "Reference Coordinate System"
Hey guys, this has been puzzling me. My Reference Coordinate System dropdown tab on the main menu is blank. It's the menu that allows you to toggle between View/Local/Screen/World coordinate system. It's blank... I have no idea how to get it back.. Any thoughts ? -

iPad - PDF and Video?
I'm looking to do a presentation on an iPad (just a pdf and a few videos). I've never used an iPad, so I wanted to know if there are any issues doing this? I ask because AFAIK you can't save files to a local folder, like you do on Windows, and it doesn't seem straightforward. -
