Yeah, unless I'm missing something, there's absolutely no reqason to use the green channel of a photo for part of the bumpmap. What you're doing is simply using the green light information of the photo.. so if you have a green spoon and a red spoon, going to the green channel would give you absolutely different results…
I've submitted DigiKlay v1.0 to Microsoft for analysis to address this false positive, and I'm waiting for their response. Here's a screenshot of the submission confirmation: I'll keep you updated as soon as I receive any further information!
Hey Eric, thanks for your interest and for poking into powerpreview . As far i remember all those things should toggle of as soon as you press "Go" or "snapshot", but possibly some incompatibility prevents that. Here is the last version i actually worked on exactly 10yrs ago , after that i stopped development for one…
Your presentations are just insane! Those logos really make me swoon, I absolutely love all of them! Awesome work all around. The only thing that I'm not a big fan is the HUD for the Slark set, some areas like the left side feels a bit too bright for my tastes, but apart from that it looks great.
Progress update: I applied what @Hymil said and softened the main body, but haven't completly rounded it off and removed the pinching at the edges. For the textures i wanted to go for a more realistic approach, but when it came to baking the textures i've run into a few problems, tried to fix them but i can't seem to, so…
Thank you very much dude ! that's a great shout, I'll scour the net to see if I find anything similar. If not, Blender will probably have a plugin like this, just need to bite the bullet and finally learn the key bindings for it haha I tried something similar with Maya's Duplicate Special which instances your meshes, but…
Valve released a new update to TF2, if you haven't checked out the new short or the game, they're both free so whatca waiting for!? You've probably already seen this but if you haven't, its more of Valves classic TF2 shorts. So much awesome... They really need to grow their cinematic department and start cranking out the…
Forget bananas, I'm going BANOONOOS! Thank you A MILLION TIMES OVER! I love learning from the pros (I'm just a nurse who does SD for fun because it's that awesome), and I hope one day my tutorials will be good enough to where I can give back to the Substance community in an equally amazing way! Seriously, I'm swooning over…
Much appreciated! I don't plan to stop supporting the plugin any time soon and I plan to give release the source code if it would ever come to that point. I'm happy to hear you found good use for the plugin :) Have a good New Year!
