I think it may be a problem with my photon or my AO (Ambient Occlusion) because i've tried Draft FG and Low pothon in my GI nothing had resolve it but anyway i changed my light for direct and omnis to simulate my sky , my sun and my ambient light so i think it will be easier with these between the mr sun and mr sky that… -

I just placed an omni light in and it's now producing spec passes. I originally only had two MR Sky Portals and it looked as though there were spec highlights present. I've attached the file Fletch, I'm sure it's an obvious solution for someone who's good at passes. Are the Sky Portals actually producing spec highlights?… -

Baking in reflections?
Max2010 vray or MR I have a cockpit, and I want to back in the raytraced reflections of the glass canopy, but im running into an issue. Its not rendering the reflections from the pilots perspective, but what is paralell too the surface. So the reflections are not rendering out correctly! Im trying to render from a camera… -

Yeah, I reckon that since the main differences seem to be ease of use, unless you do a lot of rendering and don't want to have to learn anything new, splashing out cash on a new renderer seems like a waste to me. MR is kind of oldschool. If you really want to learn something about rendering you should try out MR. I use corona because of the pircetag (compared to Vray). But it really doesnt matter.
