Dig the layout, and that medieval town is DEFINITELY my favorite of all your work. My only question is on the 2d side, why do you have this badass armor with practically no face and a quickly drawn sword. I would just consider finishing this up.
use refs man , dont try to pull something as complex as rusted metal out of your head, study it instead of dropping overlays in the texture. heres one i got for quickly searching in google :) just gather lots and lots and lots and lots of refs .
This game uses the same engine that I'm using for my Zero Punctuation entry. (Flixel) I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to make games and knows some AS3. I've been able to get a lot done with it quickly, and the performance on it is really good.

Crazybump is a huge value for me, some may think its too much to pay for an app is so focused, but when you use it on every single asset you make, and it saves a good deal of time for each, it easily pays for itself pretty quickly.
I also really like ArtStation. Its clean and focuses on folio content. I read somewhere it is used by recruters and the site design reflects that. If I need to view a lot of examples quickly that is my go to. If I need a forum, I come here.
I feel the version in the previous post is closer to the original, but it could be the material and focal length throwing me off. How proficient at 2D painting are you? You need to step back when you start to run into circles then iterate through possible changes quickly when you return. The way I go about this is to take…
I'll jump on this train. But I'll start off addressing the original post's desire for shorter-form anime, leaning toward inspiring/interesting works. For my initial post I will limit it to films and shorter OVA series, less than the standard 13 episode season. Anything by Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli: Seriously. You'll hear this…
