Final blockout with feathers. From left to right: handfeather, three collar feathers and two wing feathers. My plan is to reuse the same feather over again with some resizing and tweaking to save UV space in the end. That's why they are still seperated. I will finalize the meshes now back again in ZBrush. I like that you are doing a unique face but I suppose I would prefer it be a bit more attractive. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't need to be like a supermodel but right now it looks really long. did a lo poly blockout for the gauntlet redesign.. i think i like it more. i wanted that side of her body to feel heavier and more armored. i deviated quite a bit from the concepts but my plan was to kinda make it my own and make it BIG. anyways hope you like it, and if not please provide feedback!
Gumbata: If you do it diferent enough I dont think there should be any issue . as a feedback I think the horns could be thicker and maybe just one . and the helm seems a bit tall on his head . I dunno if the tires are placeholders or something, but on the treads on yours it looks like you just have a skewed/bent grid of squares, whereas on the concept the tire treads have more of an interlocking/offset pattern to them which makes them look more interesting and realistic. Alright, I decided to do hair cards, but I did a blockout of the beard to get a good idea. Added some pouches to the belt, and now its time to make the low res...it's going to be a long night. I'll probably come back and add some high frequency detail later, and a lot of it will be created within substance painter.
