I'd take the left one, it goes better with the rest of the set. I really love your work! Oh, and as far as the translucency ("glass effect") is concerned: isnt it possible to add the line for that into the item's .vmt?
I picked up Fable 3, its pretty fun but theres some definite awkwardnes..like having to dance with a male merchant to get 25% of his items...I'm playing a dude btw
Just to clarify, i believe it's not necessary to install earilier verisons of maya. It should be possible to only install the plugin alone: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=10775920
I only have one item that is fully textured. Nothing in the scene is showing up in anything other than a wireframe. I have it so that lighting and textures should be showing but I get nada.
Agreed. I'd keep the awesome hair and the weapons(maybe change them a little) but lose the demonic chest/shoulders. You could make the skirt work too if it was joined with less demonic other items.
Dude, water is deadly stuff! Smashing boxes to get stuff. And barrel/crate/boxes in general. Even in real life these items should be abolished. Except for kegs...you leave my keg alone.
And the benchmarking begins: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=chromium_moblin_benchmarks&num=7 Though, I think it's a bit unfair to benchmark right now, since it really is only a preview and not a completed system.
Agreed, portfolio is THE most important thing. One way to solve the resume thing is to simply add a line item identified as self-improvement. There are many terms to use for this... updating skillset, technical sabbatical, etc.
It is NOT paid work , but you will get Revenue Sharing after publishing items (models) on Steam Workshop. Now we work just without paying, if Valve will accept something then we can get paid....
ive gotten rid of weaker items in my portfolio so now cracking on with more portfolio work started to import everything into UDK still got loads of meshes to import its coming along
