yeah your right im not presenting my work like this. i still have 2 months to show wireframes, textures and such in a professional manner. btw any crits on my environments.
This is inspired by the show The Office, specifically the scene where the company Sabre develops a tablet/phone called the Pyramid. I wanted to take the same concept and imagine if Sabre had gone on to develop the iPhone 13. Wireframes were selectively scaled to highlight some of the smaller areas.
Thanks man, the wireframe is a mesh because I couldn’t get it to bake correctly so i had to just use the decimated mesh I tried to do a three point lightning, is the issue that there is no lightning on the bottom?
Sorry to necro this thread but i just found out that you cannot disable wireframe or change mesh color of retopo mesh object. This make previewing mesh impossible so does anyone have a workaround for this?
Haven't opened the Maya file, but the topology looks like it needs a lot of work. Can you show a shaded wireframe? Here's an example of good topology: Bigger image here: http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/BodyTopology
Not sure if you wanted to see with wireframe and texture so I posted both :) and I definitely want to get more into more complicated weapons. Very excited to learn more about maya and build more.
Nice! I would love to see some wireframe screenshots of the scene and a breakdown on some of the shaders you created. I'm working in UE4 as well and I'm loving it so far. Keep up the great work!
Oniram! I would love some wireframes mate! I'm having problems highpoly modeling "panels"/carvings that curves along the surface like on the grip of this gun, thanks It sure looks amazing, great work
I gave this part it's own smoothing grp : heres non wireframe : as you can see the shading is much better still get really small ones but not that noticable like these when going on certain angle
Thanks Cheathem & JoshuaG! I will redo the scope and smooth out the edges. Also, sorry for not making it clear that I am showing the high poly along with the low poly wireframe. I have not baked it yet.
