You might want to add lights to the towers at night. If you're using textures with a palette, then a simple palette swap could do this for you. Pre-baking shadows or adding a normal map would help give the buildings a feeling of depth, but the current cartoon-like appearance might be intentional and does work well with the… -

Just my 2 cents. The shield looks good; but a single shield feels a little lackluster too me. If you could maybe try to put it with a few other thematic assets it would go a very long way of showing skill as an adaptive versatile artist.
