It's a mix of both of the problems above: UV's touching opposite sides = touching. And it has the curves because of how it's drawn the lightmap, curves up on the right where it touches a dark part of your wall, and down on the left because it's light on the touching UV., For a wall this size, I would budget about 64X64 for…
Okay back again with some wires! Before you look I'd just like to state for the record that I'm aware that there's a ridiculous amount of unnecessary polygons, it's a wonder that there's any of them left for you guys to play with ;) There's about 1,870,000 polys... EDIT: Sorry I'm afraid that I deleted too much of my…
Nice, really impressive for a first environment. The thing that stands out the most to me is the grass on the bottom left seems is all going in the same direction, as if some sort of strong wind was blowing it, so you might want to change up the direction a bit more. The leaves on the small tree/bush on the left could use…
With the whole site basically shifted to the left it doesn't help that the characters are facing left as well. It's like when you frame a character talking in a film, you don't have them to one side of the frame, facing that same side. I would just center everything if it was me. The header and colors all work well, but…
Yeah hiding amd unhiding does strange stuff sometimes. Maybe someone knows more, but in the meantime : hide the fisrt group of polys, like you did in the first screenshot (left), group visible (polygroups), then do the same for the second group of polys. Now you have three groups. Hide the main group and group the two left…
I've always used a mouse left handed. Always. It just made sense when playing games - the arrow keys are lined up perfectly, none of that whack WASD shit. Oh, and I don't have to move the mouse when I watch porn. But seriously, I'm ambidextrous, so using the mouse left handed never bothered me - it always felt natural.
Awesome! all the best to everyone going for these. Damn I am so out of loop with these. Also will anyone tell why we changed name from MNC to what we have now? Supposable Lion nice blockout! Maybe its just my perception balcony in concept looks a tiny bit offset towards right as in left part is not so aligned with left…
For the texture going only on top side, not top and bottom the fix is - Brush-> Auto Masking -> and then activate Backface Mask. It seems like the texture kinda has opacity....but is kinda a good solution for now! For the strange opacity, open the Curve below the Backface Mask and turn the left side all the way up! That…
Wow, sounds like i've been seriously missing out...Being able to mess with bones without losing weighting sounds sweet...And mirroring! Now the left limbs wont bend like crap cuz I did the right ones first and was too lazy to pay the same attention on the left ones :P I'll definately try Skin on my next model
This isn't using a standard distance setting though. The hand is in focus on the left, while the gun at the same distance is blurry. It's very inconsistent. My guess is that they're using a mask of some sort. Or a full screen shader that samples zbuffer and guesstimates the depth? I dunno.. The object in front of the…
