Heyo, I would look into that error message you get "GPU crashed or D3D device removed". Searching it brought up the issue of GPU drivers crashing with long computations, check out this entry from Adobe. I'm not an IT person, best read up yourself before you break something.
Thanx. I get an update notification in Marm 4.05 for 4.06 after opening it. When I try to install the update (4.06) I get an error that the updater cant find my current 4.05. My current Marm location is standard C drive programs folder. Edit: Fixed
I disagree, the vast majority of Designer users don't need the FX or PP node. And most people don't need to obsess over single pixels here and there (and if you for some reason very much need to, then I agree that Designer isn't the right tool. I see very little point in using Designer, or Painter if you're making pixel…
I don't have much to say about the trailer in the original post. It just seems like sensationalist bullshit from those types of extreme economic-conservatives who try to argue that "tax is theft." I do, however, have a thing or two to contribute to the ensuing conversation. Sonic, I can't believe how naive you're being. In…
An update to this: Thank you so much for all your responses. After countless trials and errors, these are the export settings that work for me. I'm exporting an Editable Poly as .fbx 2020 with these settings, and it never triangulates now. If I change the FBX version, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. If I change…
@AXEL Thanks man I appreciate it! The final mesh has a polycount of 2,000 and not 9k I decided to drop it as low as i could go -So here is my High Poly Work Flow- 1. Create mesh make sure proportions are good super Important, on this asset i went back and forth so many times trying to nail the proportions 2. Start going…
I think there is a problem in "step 2" for naming convenction ... I realised when I started a new proyect in SP. see the image . I ve exported all the FBX pieces (lowpoly pieces) in a temporally file to work with it (in fbx's blender exporting tab) , it is ok... in the step 2 ... you mentioned to separete propiety and…
ok your technical workings are absolutely great, I really like how far advanced you are in these vfx/shaders..but your presentation needs some extra tweaks to make people on polycount say "dat's pretty art yo" Im just gonna run down the sky only in this 1- Clouds need to be atmospheric, clouds are not solid objects as you…
A joint placed at the center of a sphere will rotate around the surface. It pulls the eyelid in in an arc, not a straight line. You can get into trouble with a joint if you're stretching some small thin polys. It's better to rig (joints or morphs) with eyelids half closed, which also helps UV's and baking, but all of your…
