i don't think its harsh at all, technical terms are absolute, and the only way of using them in a useful capacity when talking tech (and as far as i can tell, you are talking tech) is to make sure they're used correctly. And as i say, i'm reiterating what a few people have already said -

Well, this should be in the technical talk section, first off. But what do you mean by paint on one side and it mirrors, but if you paint on the other side it disappears? How did you mirror the UVs exactly? Are you talking about stacking them so they are on top of each other? Did you mirror the wrong side by mistake? -

I guess we need a qualifier here... Are we talking props used during filming? Or are we talking props if they actually worked like they are in the movie? If it's based on what they did in the movie, then I want the Back to the Future Delorean (Mr Fusion version), or Bill & Ted's phone booth. I'd love to be able to time… -

I assume you are Talking about Adobe Bridge. Unfortunately it is not advanced enough. But I did a search to see if you were talking about another program and found Adobe Version Cue CS3 which might actually work, must read more into it tho. In an odd way still helped me out, Thanks. -

One funny thing I thought is where they talk as if Modo invented scripting languages... the host talks about everyone else having to do C++ plugins... they're speaking like maxscript, MEL script etc. don't exist :) Well, it is a Luxology podcast after all, I guess they always want to push their product. -

A spoilers-friendly thread is actually an appropriate place to engage in one of my favorite creative exercises when I believe a film is flawed but salvageable. What would you do to fix the film? For me, I would throw out the entire third act and re-contextualize the Batman/Superman fight. Batman and Superman fighting each… -
