I do love dungeons. This one is looking like a good start. Any plans to model out some of the bricks? The flat walls could use some silhouette detail as shown in The Witcher reference images.
Looks very nice ! :) I really dig the blending on the ground. Did you guys used some Witcher 2 references ? (which is a good reference by the way) It's looks like a lot the dwarf level to me.
FPS - Call of Duty 4 RTS - Company of Heroes RPG - People seem to really like The Witcher didn't impress me though. Those are all new games though, not sure if they'll run on laptop.
Posted in the WAYWO thread, but then realised a few green channels needed flipping.. So I had a free afternoon, and after watching one too many Witcher 3 videos, I wanted to make some ground materials :)
Mmm.. lemmi throw a few ideas in too then. Blizzard/Diablo/Starcraft The Witcher Warhammer Fantasy/40k DC/Marvel Kingdoms of Amalur just some ideas, hope this continues.
Neck looks a tad short, and you could probably define the arm muscles a little better. Besides that I like the design, kind of reminds me of The Witcher a little bit.
Art needs to be bigger. I was impressed with 'The Witchers' art book, good size and full of good content. About the importing, maybe a fellow polycounter can send you one?
Thanks guys - the podium thing looks a bit off as i'm trying to mimic a real piece of furniture that has really high spec and those very soft curves but I am not sure it is fully working - it looks better now that it is hidden by detail objects, as intended, but I may still change it! The last week or so has been terribly…
His head looks a bit long to me, from forehead to back of skull. That's all I got. I like where this is going. Anything inspired by witcher 2 is cool with me.
More of a pipe-dream. Hard to find the time to really sit down and play a game right. Witcher 3's been languishing on my HDD since launch, but I've only had the chance to give it a couple hours.
