Zetheros, I remember your sculpts from Chivalry contest, they immediately stood out for me. And this demon looks very, very good. I like where your imagination goes, can't wait to see more.
Here is a character that I made for the PC game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (2012). I am still on the lookout for some new clients. If you would like to find out more, just drop me a private message. Thanks
for period designs I highly recommend the "Arms and Uniforms" series by L&F Funcken. The books range anywhere from the age of chivalry to ww2 etc. Fully illustrated and, many times, broken down to individual pieces with descriptions of their usage.
Thanks! I downloaded the claymore from the Chivalry sight to get proportions for my model and realized that the hilt section of my design was far to fat and short, so I thinned it out and stretched it, but you are right, the pommel needs to be enlarged to fit the proportions of the crossguard.
Just wanted to chime in and mention that having Unreal Engine 3 support was very useful for the recent Chivalry contest - as far as I am concerned it worked perfectly well.
Any more progress on this? If you had any plans for turning this into a Team Objective map, we are hosting a map contest for Chivalry. Check it out: http://tornbanner.com/contest/
It would be a map that uses that image as a 'mask' where another texture/material will be displayed when certain conditions are met (ie the weapon becomes damaged/used). For a similar use you can see chivalry's blood mask: https://tornbannerjira.atlassian.net/wiki/display/CHIVCOM/Tutorial%3A+Weapon+Bloodmasks
