solved/ solution for anyone who will have the same problem: convert ur base mesh with the uvm layer on top to editable mesh first and right after that to edit. poly. ->export.
Are you sure you are using editable poly instead of editable mesh? And as for double sided face you need to make sure your Backface Cull is checked in Object properties.
What if put Edit Poly - Detach, then when you want all the things attach back together just delete the Edit Poly modifier from the "main" object.. _Revel
Eric Elwell > Per128 > gauss sorry per, lulz. edit: man, that is it. the contrast on my work machine monitor is absolutely horrible... gotta tweak these last two. edit: and done.
Edit Mesh/Edit Poly --> Weld (within a determined threshold) or Target Weld (where you chooseone vert and choose the other to connect it to. They have to either be open or on the same edge.
If you would want to make a little more effort, as you stated that this is just a temp. I would recommend using a LAMP stack on Raspberry PI and using NAS (Or free NAS for starters.) I was actually going to recommend it until I read "AWS is the way to go, it has resolved most of my problems, it is amazing!!!" AWS free tier…
sure thing KP, will make some images now. will edit this post later. EDIT: here it is: and here is the model with the color blockin applied: hope it helps :D
