So apparently Lumen indirect in UE5 works mostly correctly with my sdf models by default, even when they are ray traced surfaces.

Took a break from modules and trims...))) Here is a sketch of the main character. Face is an almost default zbrush girl and will be replaced later.

You can change the default tangent space in Edit-Preferences so that you won't have to set this up each time.

It always defaulted to XYZ. And the option to change it to y axis orbiting is in the shelf to the right of the document window, same place as the last version.

@marie_s3d also, its just a (fairly heavily) modified blogger site with a custom domain. The slideshow feature is default which is nice!

Did you tick the box 'Preserve Smoothing' (or something similar) in Maya upon export? I don't think it is enabled by default :)

yeah i'm starting to think just sitting with default will be fine for now, it's just a shame maya has such apalling modeling tools.
