Oh and wiki PDFs, you’re welcome to download whatever. We don’t have tools for this, but I’m sure you can figure it out ;) There are even other wikis out there which have copied our content wholesale, which is ok AFAIK. As long as the point is to share info and not profit off it, I think we’re ok with that. Same idea as…
I'm curious which would be a better way to utilize my skills in order to make money short term, get out of my day job, and start making money off my modeling skills full-time so I can progress my skills properly while starting out. The Dota 2 Workshop, or Unity Asset Store (+likely model distribution sites like…
Looks like you improved a lot from your first version. Would be better to start her off from an idle state or standing position before she jumps off. She also lost her forward momentum at f120. She should land further instead of straight down.
Thanks for the tips! When I sculpt, should I be using perspective on or off? Most of this was done with perspective off, and I'm actually using image planes so everything matched up rather nicely, its just when I turned on perspective that he moved away from the ref a bit.
This is very good! Honestly, it's not easy to pull off nintendo characters but I think this worked well! I have a small picky thing to say though, that it looked like the fairies were actual blobs with wings, instead of that just being the light they give off, but hey! Good production on all ends!
The edges are worn everywhere, that looks a little bit off. This isn't the case everywhere. Some edge getting any contact anywhere, you should think about this. Where does the weapon reach a surface. Where does the usage touch any surface to wear off a material or a paint? Keep that in mind.
This should help give you a good jumping off point. I based my cover letter off of these templates and I never got any complaints. Just be sure to adjust it for a game company. Short, simple and manageable. http://www.wikihow.com/Write-a-Cover-Letter Hope this helps? - D. Carmine
Your lighting is killing this and some of your choices to show this off are perplexing. Why would you use a shot of the sun blowing out all details in your scene? The whole point is to show off your environment and that does the exact opposite. The lighting is your biggest issue, it's just too dark.
I think you're going to have troubles because you're working off a reference that isn't entirely straight which is throwing off the proportions of your body. If you do a search for "African elephant anatomy", you'll pull up a few photos and drawings that'll be much better to work from
The colors just seem a bit off to me instead of WD being purple he's this dark blue and the colors just doesn't seem to hit the exact hue for me, like they're a bit off, but yeah, if they get desaturated it would personally help a lot for me anyways. Just trying to help :)
