Hey Guys! I just submitted an item to the workshop! I'd love feedback and if you like it, thumbs up! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=199117220&searchtext= Also, I have seen that when Luna attacks, the glow of the old weapon is still there, I am unsure about the process for changing where that glow is…
I am using blender and trying to do particle effects on a DOTA 2 item. I have tried both SMD and DMX formats exported with _fx post texts as per games workshop specs. I have also watched their tutorial. I am now stumped hopefully someone can get back to me :poly132:
Hello all, I am working towards my first ever skin. I have made some skins before but never released them or uploaded them to the workshop. Not quite sure if this skin fits the contest but I've seen similar patterns on many buildings from the 70's (Pictures coming soon)

There's already a pretty similar ward on the workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=146712211 If you really want to do a Windrunner ward, you would have to change a lot from this concept. Anyway, I like D, not a big fan of the arrows piercing through the ward on most of the others.
Yep, +1 fella's. Also I've been a long time fan of Scott Eaton's work and his workshop is practically bursting at the seams with handy sculping/anatomy learning material so when you've spare time give them an eyeball or two as well. http://www.scott-eaton.com/tutorials
Hey there, If you are planning on creating a low poly version of your model and you want to bake some high poly stuff on it, then you only need to UV the low-poly. The high poly doesn't need to be unwrapped. There are loads of good tutorials over at Digital Tutors , 3DMotive , The Gnomon Workshop .
Hmm...I think the Rubick files on the workshop page are old. Looks like he might have been resized and Valve hasn't updated his files, same thing happened with Juggernaut and Earthshaker, among others. I would try scaling up the cape and reimport it at the bigger size
@bluegoon: just import that Offhand weapon like you import any other items. Each items need to be imported and submitted to the workshop separately, there is currently no way to import and submit a whole set at the same time. The MDL files will be compiled by Dota2's importer when you import the items.
So after failing again to keep this post updated, time to post again. I decided to take an ianimate workshop again, this time feature 2. This is my first assignment and I'd be grateful for any critique you guys can think of - http://syncsketch.com/playground/d6514d8a5ba84fb4a6c0625debc02d4e#93159 Thanks!
