Brilliant Josh- a polycount competition would be fantastically welcome I'm sure, but as mentioned, it'd need to be organized like the tf2 content was organized. That last one with the civil war bit (was it even a competition?) seemed pretty sloppy.

Agree but i still firmly believe that if the advancement in tech was as good as in the golden years then studio workload would be drastically lower. Thank for bringing the discussion in a more civilize way and again excuse my horrendous English skills!
They will, but by that point all other jobs will already be replaced and we'll be deep in civil war with all labourers, drivers, managers, admins, cashiers fighting machines on streets and at that point AI taking your job will be the least of your problems.
Polycount is a community. It's threads like this that help build the community and keep this place from feeling like an anonymous collective. Just keep it civil and try your best to not photoshop too many dicks on each others faces.
Well be that as it may, however elements of "Brotopia" proliferate regardless of industry, as others had commented which basically is just a stark reminder that testosterone fueled prerogative continues too foment, beneath a thin veneer of social civility.
