Some older shadow-rendering systems required closed meshes. Also called watertight. 3d printers require closed meshes too. -

Hi Florian, Thanks for your reply. I do, on occasion, I just thought my post was already too long to mention it. Oh, that's a pity. I was hoping ZModeler's pick and use PG would be useful :( Anyway even without storing particular polygroups, just being able to "spread" a set number of PGs over all subtools would be great.… -

Dell are making printers that 'print' new skin for field medics in warzones ect. It samples the skin and mass produces it and you simply print it onto the injury. -

oh man, i love 3D printing/rapid prototyping tech. It seems like shapeways uses an FDM printer, has surprisingly good quality for that. -

May that be connected to the printer error message that kept popping up, I just checked that my print spooler is set to automatic so probably not
