@SnowInChina Yeah the 650D is old with a pretty crappy Canon sensor. Canon sensors are generally pretty bad compared to Sony ones, especially the old ones. 1. Start -> Run -> "services.msc". 2. Look for "TabletService" (I think, might be called something else for the Bamboo). 3. Right-click on it and choose "Stop". 4. Once it's stopped, right-click on it again and choose "Restart Service". -

you can stop it using as many cores as you want but that isn't going to stop it eating your memory. when rendering with mental ray I find the best use of my time is to go and do something else.. -

Is it really playing a hurt animation or is it just stopping you for a second( which makes you blend the animation to the 'exhausted' one). Perhaps you can try and disable the 'Velocity affects Walking'. Perhaps that will prevent your pawn from stopping every 1 second. -

3dsmax has instancing of meshes and modifiers, they're great and very helpful. In what way do you think it's lacking or needs to be implemented in a different way? I'm kind of confused how you expect it to act "better". I've used it daily for over a decade, it rarely crashes unless I do something nutty like grab a slider…
