Thanks @BIGTIMEMASTER ! I played around with making the actual laser beam. I added a power button and some fingerprints, and I changed some wear in some places.
but it would be cool if the image was projected into a vr headset.. imagine games of laser tag where people are firing rockets and railguns and carrying huge guns.. real life quake!
A lot of mice are made specifically for right handers. We lefties are always handicapped because we're naturally superior :D I use a MS Laser Mouse 6000
It takes so long just to get preview images together.. Anyhow.. Mod: Apprehension Heavy Roamer: [ QUOTE ] Physical Description: Huge aircraft, approximately the size of a school bus. Are you using a composite material or are you using a composite map in the diffuse slot of a standard material? The composite map has layers with blending options just like photoshop and should work if you put your AO layer above your base layer and set it to multiply or something similar.
I'm wondering if you may be experiencing the side effects of using multiple LB_HeightBlend nodes without having one layer set to LB_AlphaBlend. That will happen when all layers have alpha of 0. (UDN Article: http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/LandscapeMaterials.html goto "Note about multiple LB_HeightBlend layers")
That's very interesting. Another approach, if you're certain that every pixel in the textures except the cracks match, is to write a simple GIMP Python-Fu script to compare each pixel in two layers and make a third layer with the pixels that don't match (based on one of the layers, like the topmost one for example).
MoP i was just wondering, would it be possible in future versions to add a function which automatically places the selected imports into their own layer in max, it wouldn't matter if there wasn't a naming function for the layer, just as long as it placed the imports into their own layer. do you think thats even possible?
It'd be cooler if they had laser beams on their heads Man, those squirrels must have been REALLY pissed at that dog. I didn't think squirrels even liked meat :/
Hmm, strange, did you try creating a copy of the layer which is shifting and see if that helps? Also, is anything masked both from that layer or any previous layer? ZB will occasionally lock in nasty masks here and there, which can destroy hours of work if they're not cleaned properly after polypainting.
