Used the same approach as Shrike in Unreal (4.26 iirc) - create few vertex painted variants (e.g. overgrown, dirtied) - because the map size would get very large with many vertex painted meshes. download and install Everest: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Everest-Home-Edition.shtml it will scan the hardware,and tell you exactly what hardware is in there,from model make,to even what bus/irq it is using,so you can search for drivers a lot easier,we used to use it a lot in IT.. -

It looks like the spacing at the start, where he steps with his right foot, isn't the same as when he steps with his left foot. Also be sure to track the arc of the spear. Any movement in the spear will be amplified a lot by slight gestures in the character. Think of the spear's weight and balance. -

Gray is flat, iirc. So I used inverted AO as a mask for 50% gray, on all three channels. This made both ambient and diffuse fade out in the cracks. Been a while since I did this. I think it was only a benefit because the diffuse was tiled, so I couldn't just darken that. -

Thanks for the kind words! :smiley:@dcneil for gunsmith settings I use a phong albedo boost of 70 IIRC, with a low phong exponent on the chrome elements and high on the dark areas. I'm using a custom phong exponent texture that I made by inverting the RGB, altering the brightness and levels, and then pasted into the alpha… -

its likely a prefix issue and or gametype. IIRC the gametype definition looks for maps with a certain prefix and lists those. So what you might want to do is make sure only the master level has the right prefix, and all other maps have none, or some other prefix not used by the main. -

madPXL: I think I remember that, do you have any pics of the NDS demo still? Really like what you've got going there, too bad it wouldn't really look like that on the NDS due to its crazy low resolution (256x192 iirc) widescreen it and it could work on the 3DS though :) -

The shape of her eyebrow looks too sharp. They also seem too thick at the moment. You need to make the brow arc more. It also seems like her mouth, her lower lip is too full to be Jinx. Jinx has a thinner lips. Looking good though. Hope you finish.
