Hey man nice work, nice to see a fellow student here on polycount. Did you manage to figure out how to stop the floating geo from showing up in renders?
If you really wanted you could normal that in afterwords, or just add it as floating geo, how are you going about it at this point? Really looking good with what you have! Ben
I don't see any significant speedup when toggling between 4 and 8 threads - and CPU usuage seems to float around %40-45 in either case, when processing.
Looks way better than crazybump, but I assume unlike crazybump it's not using a floating licence system where same licence can be used on multiple workstations just not at the same time?
higher poly titties. yes. color variation. yes. floating titties -- for sure. too much meat.. hmm.. perhaps. i'll get some more reference. thanks a lot dude.
I think some good support structures would be cool. As it stands right now the section of the house on the middle left hand side looks funny just floating there on that tiny branch.
You've got the wrong definition of a a yacht I'm afraid. @whats_true I disagree with your statement about the flat sides. This is supposed to be a luxury craft, and thus very sleek. In fact I think it could stand to be simplified a lot in the sides. If I were to change anything to the global shape it'd be tapering the…
Hey, im trying to pose a low polygon mesh in Zbrush 4 (one mesh, no subtools) however when using the transpose feature its not picking up any floating meshes even though they are not subtools and are actually part of the same mesh. Any suggestions? Cheers.
What's the preferred method for achieving good wall edge/corner detail now? I was watching some Hitman 2 gameplay and they do a great job with their wall corners.. I was thinking maybe a floating mesh baked from high poly, with color added in the material?
I am near the end of my course studying and i am doing a floating Island in the sky. i did the base mesh now i am sculpting the rock cliff face. I need some critque and suggestion on this.
