Hey nice website man. The first run animation is great. I would consider scrapping the fullsail specific stuff (at least the tennis player) it just isn't really adding anything for you. The robot ninja dude seems a little stiff in spots but still works pretty well. Good stuff overall though man!
That's looking real nice. I'd up the frequency of the rain drops in the puddles though. Half the screen is filled with rain and then maybe 2 drops a second hit the puddle. You'll need to do more to make that robot look good, right now it looks too primitive, as in made from basic 3D primitives with a few extensions. That's easier said than done, but that's where the artistic element comes in. It will help to take a few screenshots and do a paintover for yourself to come up with more complex…
additionally think of the tile as a composition . Right now your composition is very busy.Again, look at some reference- I put together this gif after looking at some sandstone walls- try starting with a sketch and don't be afraid to work loose, it'll help pull away from the robotic straight lines you currently have.
Don't play alone. It makes such a difference. If you are playing alone, Mechromancer is probably best since the robot is almost like a second character. And just wait until you face a field full of Threshers including a Badass Fire Thresher. I think the 3 of us died like 5 times each before we got it :(

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see how it looks. The only other characters in the sheet I know are Kimiko Ross (black hair and robotic arm) from Dresden Codak and Rose from Homestuck (profile view, top middle.) The rest I just grabbed from Google image search or Tumblr or what have you.
