Re: Please get rid of the expanding Chevrolet ads
If you have Adblock, you can (IIRC) set rules and exceptions. So but Polycount to Unblock and then, set specific ads to block (like the Chevy ad). I think you can also Right-Click > Block the Flash that is bothering you, if you get the Adblock extension Element Helper, or so. -

As for me,I would prefer IK for throwing the stone,I just need to key the handle at specific positions and tweak the curves in the editor.Same IK for taking his hands to his mouth and walking away.I just need to key the movement at the right positions to maintain the arcs and then make sure the timing is good. -

I've been watching and enjoying it. I like the arc that he's taking. He's not a hero at all, basically hell bent on revenge against a select group of individuals, but as the season progresses he's becoming less of a vigilante and more like the green arrow we all know. Pretty good so far. -

Oh I forgot the bullshit they pulled in KY last election (as well as other states IIRC). Putting Gay Marriage on the ballot.. OMG.. ALL of the bigots got out of their trailers for that one. I was pissed... but I took solace in the fact I voted against Bush and for gay marriage in a *chruch. XD -

All right, thanks. That was a lot of help. (although I have been searching for this nice layered limestone cliff texture for quite a while and haven't found almost anything. I suppose I'll have to find one in IRL But how come that there are no visible seams on the rock? Or are they just not so disturbingly noticeable? -

Definitely left me wanting to see more. I really like the first two animations on your reel, but the lip-sync felt floaty and soft compared to the others. The girl's right hand especially, it just kind of waved around slowly. Great anticipation and arced movements on all the animations though. -

Your uvmapping is still really irking me. I just noticed the inside of the barrel is mapped with the same texel density as the back of the slide. Also you have a lot of weird scribbly looking details on the spec that look like they were just quickly drawn with a basic Photoshop brush and not touched afterwards. -

Darken the eyes, lose some saturation in the iris, get some highlights in there. Pull in the eyebrows from the center and more to the corners of the eye, some eyelashes or darkening around the eyes could make it more similar to the photo. The skintones are still too bright. Needs more dark and more red highlights in the… -

I know, my girlfriend and I are so hyped to see it tomorrow! Got a nice glimpse at what it will be like from the IFC Special Dream of the Dead. (I must say that the fact that the zombies use guns is a little bit upsetting to me) And then next week, Undead comes out in US Theaters!
