this looks excellent! great job man. the only thing that irks me is the pink shoes, I would have gone with the darker purple instead but its up to you. Maybe try alternating one section dark purple and the other (like the toe of the shoe) pink or something, see how it looks.
hm, the only thing that irks me is I think the neck is a teeny bit too thin. other than that I think it looks good so far. here's a couple of zbrush tutorials on hair: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Tutorial:_Hair_Sculpting http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=1312
350 pages? I need to see this to believe it, because I'm having a hard time believing it. but either way, mad props to you, I wish I had something like that available to me when I started. Joan of Arc tutorial did good though. I look forward to this!
Photo Reference Pack: Black Sand Beach - Iceland Download on Artstation In this Icelandic pack you will get references about an iconic black sand beach from panoramas to details (textures, foliage, rocks, seaweeds, stranded jelly fish, shells). It is pretty much what Death Stranding would be IRL.
starting to look nice:) i still say your armpits are too high making the arm feel very thin. The depth of your lats are good but they dont' go down far enough. Theres also a secondary hit you need on the arc of the back where you hit the bottom of the scapula
still wondering how you are going to get a scythe into the game without clipping or weaving it right through people without hitting it with the (still quarterstaff-made) hitbox, how it will fit with the damage types of the quarterstaff, how it could ever be used IRL as only the inside is sharp, etc... good luck though...
Have you checked out the Conform compound object? http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/15/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/index.html?url=files/GUID-5790F099-E538-4702-9831-EC06C0EA2819.htm,topicNumber=d30e46322 IIRC Paul Hormis' script (TiM) did a better job, but it's been a while.
seen the entire season (finale is tonight here in the uk). i really love it, everything about it... there's none of this tweeny fucking glorification of vampirism, dracula himself hates what he is but recognises the benefits. the overall arc of the season has been very good as well, can't wait to see how it ends.
Just a suggestion, don't just use a plane for the geometry, its really easy to add just a little bit of geometry to go with the texture to make it pop even more. Like the last piece, if you would make the side pieces arc a little bit in the middle it'd look really cool.
Loving your work. How did you model the ribbs inside the vault? Doing something like that and having a bit of a hard time figuring out how to get them look decent (Vault as in the structure where two arcs meet and cross and ribbs as in the ornament style construction inside them).
