Overall is pretty good, the only problem I see is the angle of the shield. The shield looks flat and the angle of the hand isn't the same as the shield. I think it's about the perspective. :) For drawing tutorials, I highly recommend to check out Feng Zhu's Youtube channel, I've learn a lot from him!… -

Cuz' it's a shield. It's such a... macho manfilled assignment. I just couldn't find any inspiration to make an awesome concept, so it got boring pretty fast. Boring concept = boring shield :D Mostly my fault but hej, live and let live. Although I did like Steven De Meyer's shield :3 -

Kept working a bit on this today. Shield pattern and shield base intensity are animated. It has a fractal texture with rotation and translation animated, also an sinus+noise texture on shield intensity. Nice gear! The sword and shield look great. My only quirk is that the gold isnt covering all the edges on the shield. There's still an area of gray where the gold is rounded off. Maybe that's the design of the shield, i dunno, but it looks strange. As for the gladiator mesh, it could just be the angle, but the foot area…
