I was pumped to use C#, but after trying to get stuff done quickly and seeing a ton of JS examples, I've only been using. I think I'll switch for my next project though.
Turns out amazing! It's great to see you take all the feedback into account so quickly  I'll make sure to check the material out as soon as I get the time, thanks a lot for sharing it!
Yea, I think most people would agree that Debs/Carpenter could use some meat on her. Rita is cuckolding the fuck out of Dexter, quickly turning into the ball-and-chain nightmare wife this season.
A little progress on the Rig. It is coming along, but still need to smooth out a lot more. You are all moving along quickly, I cant wait to start Animating this guy. https://thumbs.gfycat.com/SecretAggressiveIbis-size_restricted.gif
Thanks. Don't worry the lights are all actually default UDK assets at the moment that I quickly stuck in when trying out different ideas. In the process of modeling some of my own that will fit in much better.
I wouldn't bother with a smaller one. I've had a 12" one for years now and stopped using it for anything besides displaying reference pretty quickly. The screen is just impractically small for doing actual work on.
If you like it quick and dirty: Try out the fire PaintFX brushes, they are animated and you can convert them to polygons. You will quickly see, if they are helpful for you, before you attempt Fluids, and particle remeshing...
I quickly posed the character with Transpose Master to check proportion and search for thing to correct before it's too late. I'll do some draw over and I'll plan how to continue later during the week.
When you are with Maya, you should give Paint FX a try. You can generate PFX very quickly and convert them to poly. There are presets for noodles and grass and such, and you can play with the brush settings.
Yeah, age isn't a factor imo, there are people coming in fresh that are 30+, and you can improve very quickly if you set your mind to it. Be determined, manage time well, try to network, and that's about all there is to it.
