so regarding my original question, do you have any idea if they use a single atlas texture or just a folder with loads of individual tiled textures in them?
@Mossbros Try to use this installation guide, it works for me on 2017 Update 1. Put file in your scripts folder, use command migNormalTools() and you're good to go.

There is a way to do it, with material editor in 3dsmax and exporting with a path and folder, should be fine like that, it should also export the .mtl file for max to read the textures and all that jazz.
