Just found this article on another forum. http://www.marketrap.com/article/view_article/91171/outrageous-electronic-arts-inc-ceo-riccitello-buys-his-own-company-and-closes-it-down-two-years-later Crazy stuff going on at EA. There should be some seriously pissed off investors.
I would definitely stop using illustrations as reference. Use IRL photos and anatomically accurate depictions. Dustin seems pretty on point with all of his crits. Your spacing isn't bad but you are clearly guessing about form as you are missing major structural key points.
Yea I love this game. bad guys look awesome. Only, thing that bothers me in these shots is the lack of specularity and reflection on the eyes the mutants. And the iris is a bit bright. But everything else rocks! towel head guys have wicked costumes, I wanna see the high poly :)
This is similar but probably not what you are asking for (works best with a 4 or more button mouse). http://www.cgarena.com/freestuff/tutorials/maya/markingmenu/' If you want to change the context menu's iirc there isn't a way without a plugin/script to change them....there was a script somewhere but I can't find it. =/
Ooooh, if Eirc (chaddy) is still haunting this topic - i'd like know how you'd create the custom cubemap tex? - just take 6 screenshots of the area around the 'target object' and stitch them in pshop? - or is there an inbuilt capture function........ err. didn't look at the previous posts :( sorry
iirc the epic guys were saying the exact same thing in the making of video available in the CE edition of UT3, they treat weapons as carefully as characters and try to give them as much detail as possible because they are the real heroes/avatars of the game. Or maybe was it in the CGTALK interview...don't remember exactly
I've tried to bend an actual 3d feather first but the ends of the 2 parts of the feather just don't really meet each other like how this ring looks like so I believe that I'd have to try a different way more than using Bend Arc.
I tried to use Meshlab, used one mesh, mirrored it, and saved in two separate files. But when I try to glue mesh, Meshlab says that "Failure. There are no overlapping meshes? No candidate alignment arcs. Nothing Done." http://postimg.org/image/joge4c6ab/ I must be missing something
Doesn't matter what computer he bought it from, unless he installed it and activated it. Even if he did, he could just deactivate it. But he wouldn't have to because iirc zbrush allows you to have two active devices at a time. Tldr don't worry bout it
I have never had a problem with the art blasts, but some oif the stuff that got picked just cos it was part of said blast irked me, but having spoken with Leonard, they are going to stop blanket picking everything and get back to a more subjective eye. Blast away and all that.
