The vertical thatching wouldn't work. That side should be sloped or without thatch: Notice that the thatch is quite thick, and the ends are generally trimmed neatly. -

Thanks guys :) @Sunray You can flip the image in Tool Properties>Texture>Scale and change the horizontal and/or vertical input to a negative number. -

there's a little button on the right side of the graph editor called "unconstrained drag", that locks the curves vertically. once you click it it works fine. -

I think it might also help to have your UV straight for thoses kind of vertical lines; it will avoid those kind of aliasing -

The rotating camera will get real old, real fast. Keep the axis vertical or you'll induce vertigo/motion-sickness in your players. -

I don't think that's a seam as much as the end of the piece of wood. It is rather repetitive, though. Try flipping the UVs horizontally or vertically on a few. -

Looks stretched vertically quite a bit. So... why aren't you using good reference for anatomy? I don't quite understand.
