Damn r13.. I feel for you.. nausea from morphine (to start) is no fun,.,. I went though that with the back surgury after 9-11.. and immense pain in general sucks.. Hope you get through it soon and with as little discomfort as you can get away with.. Good luck my friend..
Hey Ruz, very sorry to hear about your poor kitty. That must be quite painful for him I will say a prayer for the little guy but I'm sure the surgery will go fine as cats are very resilient ... besides, he's bound to have at least a few of his 9 lives left -DeathKitten =^..^=
eek , i never played a coop game of hl1 .... was it the actual sp game modded for coop ? i didnt have a internet connection til 2000 ish and only had bb about 9 months so ive never really been up to date on this stuff when its happening ....
First question: Did you restart max? Second question: Did you restart your computer? First suggestion: Delete your .ini file (In max 9 and 2008 it is in your user directory (/user/Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\, previous versions in your install directory)
hahah I work for a studio that claims a "9 hour work day" they asked me if I was o.k with that at my interveiw and of course I said yes, but in the back of my mind I catogorized it into the same place where "giving 120%" lives. If anyone asks I do it. But no one really does.
you need less total texture channels to get the same information if you use metallic/roughness - even if you add a specific dielectric reflectance/specular occlusion map you need 10 for spec/gloss you need 8 for standard metal/rough or 9 if you add a specular reflectance map
Okay I figured it out. A directional light with a low shape width setting causes hard poly edges to become visible. Maybe this could be addressed in a future version of the program as it's not great, but I found a setting of 9 shape width still gives a reasonably good shadow that's not too fluffy. Hopefully this will help…
PS4 only good luck on that the Harmonix people had a hard time getting their goal due that ! And how much money you want ? Not even THE Mega Man creator wanted THAT much for Mighty No.9 and he has an reputation unlike you. I may sound nasty here but there is so much shouting nope at me.
This x 100. I love the process and I stress to anyone looking to join the industry to truly love the process as well. Without it, it's just another job. When the honeymoon phase is over (and it's over fast), it's still a 9-5 job. Love it or find something that you do love or you risk become "that disgruntled employee."
I like the music that Haz plays on his streams. I'll often play the stream in the background while I work on stuff. It's usually just the right mix of ambient noise and soft enough to fill in the empty space. Unless it's something where they play an audio clip 9-10 times in a row. Gawd, that bugs me.
