I live in LA and don't really plan to move, unless I get an awesome job offer elsewhere. It'd have to be pretty damn exceptional. Maybe I'm just a pansy?
well Tits i don't know, nothing fancy and exceptional. Just spent a lot of time placing meshes correctly. yeah Hammer, eyes are too big, it's supposed to be semi realistic :)
Lightwave is a killer when you add plugins to it, and there are a lot of LW plugins out there. I made this piece entirely with LightWave, except for baking : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/yQDDK , and it's game ready...
Everything looks really clean except the hood, that has a lot of surface information that becomes noise on this contest. Maybe you can put down a bit the bump on it... However... the work is awesome :)
congrats dooooooood :) fantastic job!!! might want to contact mixamo as I think your link on that page is broken, all of the other contestants seem to work fine except yours unfortunately
You can count me in on this one! I have a love for handtools, and planes are no exception. Here is some more inspiration for everyone: (Not sure the link will work, but it should) http://imgur.com/a/S16iZ
so I got runtime error first time,I run the max by administrative and now I get this error. MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception-- Unknown property: "width" in undefinedOK
That's basically what Obscura recommended. Except the additional optimization of only sculpting as much mesh as needed. No need to sculpt four wheels if you're going to toss out three in the retopo step.
use the 'Use Background' shader. Turn off the spec and reflectivity settings. Shadow Mask will affect the opacity of the shadows. That way your ground plane will be transparent except where the shadows are cast.
It's nice ZacD, except for the parts at the top and bottom. I can notice the textures panning, where in the original, it's more "wavy" instead of "panny". If you could tweak it a bit, it would be awesome.
