I would say work on mainly the lighting and the proportions, right now the radio looks to wide, and paint can too small. Also the knife looks like it's floating.
Merge wouldn't work well sadly, there are shells that are snapped to eachtoher ( ike ornaments), floating geo etc. stuff that would get merged and i wouldn't want merged :|
Just because it has no floating point :) . If he wants to merge those meshes before he exports into a game engine theres no need to use angles with a power of 2.
I like the aged leather look you have for the seat, the head rest looks like it's floating though. Will there be connecting pieces for the head rest or is it just temporary placement?
The crates feel like they are floating, there is nothing there right now to really ground them. Maybe the floor tiles are too big and lack little details in comparison to the crates and wall.
It's advice most writers get at some point: don't write as if you're a floating opinion-less spirit, take ownership unless you're writing truly objective facts.
Could the rail like piece above the barrel be floating geometry, allowing you to remove all the loops along the barrel, as well as the cutting where the rail joins the barrel?
echoing freespace 2 and freelancer. there's some fanmade graphics overhaul of freespace floating about the interweb too which looked pretty snazzy last time I saw
