MAYA drag and drop images from windows explorer into hypershade to import whole folders of textures at once. This is much better than having to browse to find textures. so many maya features i love but that one saves me soooooooo much time.
There can be a lot of different reasons for a lack of response. Whoever you were corresponding with might have gone on vacation, or the mail server got a little overzealous on flagging things as spam and no one's checked on the spam folders recently... I wouldn't worry too much.
allright i grabbed the shots off of the highrez version of the video. Tried my best to avoid the motioned blurred shots and instead get nice closeups of the details. Save for your inspiration folder or something.. Try not to link outside, or the koreans will kill my bandwidth
et voila, this'll cut a keypress off. save the script in your script startup folder. run it. Go to customise UI click the keyborad tab set the category to "rt_ui_tools" click 'switch to perspective and frame' click into hotkey and press P click assign
It's not bad at all, though the wheels need a lot more depth, and the rear bumper is too blocky. One could nit-pick about a few more details, but meh. If it's of any use, and if it works as intended, have a look at my 1969 GTO reference folder.
Dropbox all the way. Simply drop files in your public folder. If you overwrite an image you've posted on many forums, it will be be updated everywhere + history. Also good for keeping an easy access to your files between pc's (like game saves for instance)
Better now :) This week and each time I need to do some face texturing, I use the first image of your tutorial as one of the must-have in my 'refs' folder... oh well, thanks! http://www.pig-brain.com/tut01/tut01_01.htm
and so did I using blenders AO baking abilities, the nice thing for me was that I could just copy the application folder to another computer and have that one bake the 8k texture while continue working with the others. Can't do that with Autodesk software :)
I like the new version. Reminds me of Judge Dredd. Can I ask how many subtools this is? When I was attempting a similar workflow I ended up with tons and tons of them. Makes me wish Zbrush had folders for subtools!
yes i did, 3 times, 3 different versions. downloaded from the udk website and installed them. then i took the files for the scene and placed them into the folders under c:/UDK/versiondate/engine/content opening the scene will crash no matter what.
