Thanks Knubble. You're right, I'm going to experiment with the other finish options. For projection my googling seems to all point towards using '3dcoat'. But at $380 it's not an easy decision to buy just for csgo skinning.. :s
Check this out, virtual island only $26000 http://games.slashdot.org/games/04/12/14/1759253.shtml?tid=209&tid=187 Now thats what i call real virtual estate tpe
These are great! My one advice is to upload smaller file sizes. 1920 or so is a good maximum size. The last two you posted were 4500 x 3187 (about 5mb!) and 3267 x 2453 (about 3mb!).
Perhaps the 290x does - my 4870, 7870, and now 380 do not / did not. So warn against 290x's (if they are in fact the cause) in the same way nvidia 970's are to be avoided in Substance Painter (or in general due, to the memory problem).
Painting in details for the mag. This part isn't fully accurate as far as the modelling goes, but I'm going to leave it as is. I think tomorrow I'll do one more look over for details, then make the .380 rounds, and then onto rendering in Marmoset.
Cathodeus I have the Kinematic Labs plugin. I do not only mean that functionality. There seem to be some other good ideas in Meshmachine. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZPs9CMQPQw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38X-Fm2RioY
