Where do I find the render report window if it doesn't pop up? Or maybe it did and I just don't recognize it as such, but I didn't see anything with red text in it. I'll try adding a light though. I just finished up the texturing and fixed up a couple of problems. I think it looks slightly better, but i'm still unsure about it. I haven't quite finished the texturing and should be testing the mount in Dota by next week. the seam in the head seems to be a floating point error.… -

If the soft/firmware upgrade unlockable CPUs ever become the norm, I imagine it is going to kill at least a couple of OEMs if prices don't go up. There are a couple really cheap AF macro lenses you can buy too, if your camera had an AF motor. =P Oh well.... Personally I find MF macro quite difficult, especially with a lens that has a short focus throw and is not designed for macro. You may want to simply consider buying a Nikon Micro 55mm 2.8/3.5 AI lens.… -

Nice improvement. While little white scratch are really fun to paint, it must have a certain purpose on it. If you look at some photo reference, the damages are more rusty and bumpy. Add more rust at some strategic places, where it can "historically" being damaged.… -

Thanks for the replies guys! True. If I wasn't turning to Intel I'd probably just get Phenom x6 Black or the new 8 core FX to save me the money, and get the processing speed necessary for rendering. Tbh though the benchmarks for the i7 have surpassed even these so I think this is the best decision now to just go with… -

I currently have a HP Pavilion Elite E9280t Intel i7 920 8gb of RAM GeForce GTX 260 at Mythic I had some sort of Dell, it was pretty good for 2007. I didn't get any updates but it was good enough for hand painting textures and models 14k triangles and below.
